I also have a co-worker who is a total Peeta AND is a huge fan of the books!

My brother works at a casino on the strip. But he’s one of the admins so he probably doesn’t encounter many prostitutes…buuuuut you never know with Vegas ;)

Depends on what he does, but men who visit here will often use them as temporary “girlfriends” while here, and actually take them around and do the touristy stuff with them. So if he works with the public in any way, he probably does.

I have an interesting life. How many people in the world can say they’ve worked on the Vegas Strip? It’s definitely not a place where I want to settle down, but I am really grateful for this opportunity. In my job, I can meet anyone from A-list celebrities to prostitutes on any given day. I am so going to write a book about this one day.

I’m so excited for this fic!

YAY ME TOO LOL Especially since researching it will be even more interesting than it was for AHU, since I actually live in Vegas and work on old mafia territory! And your ideas have been amazing!

Wait, is this the place with the menus posted on the wall and the carafes of wine? Oh, and I’m excited about the fic, too!

YES. Battista’s Hole in the Wall! I pass by it every day on my way to and from work (I work inside The Venetian/Palazzo), and I’ve been DYING to try it out. Dispatches was kind enough to go there with me. :)

I met the lovely dispatchesfromdistrict7 last night at an old time Italian restaurant not far from where I work on the (Vegas) Strip and had a great time.

And now I’m writing an AU set in 1950’s Vegas where they’re mobsters.

I am not here for Katniss hate. Lets be real. Unless you’ve experienced poverty and starvation, the sudden loss of a parent and the slow disintegration of the other, and done a better job at life than Katniss did, calling her selfish is plain ignorant.
